(2) Trust Protector - Single Family Office (Jersey, Channel Islands)
Family is seeking to appoint an experienced trust industry professional as Protector, to monitor and oversee the administration of the trust by the trustees. The Protector will have a fiduciary relationship, meaning that they will owe a duty of care to the beneficiaries and must consider what course of action is in their best interests, and act accordingly in good faith. Existing experience as a Trust Protector would be preferred but is not essential and might suit a Chartered Accountant, Wealth Manager or Lawyer, able to read and understand legal opinion, with the authority and executive presence to protect the interests of the beneficiaries.
